This past weekend was the New Hampshire Film Festival and it was quite the extravaganza! When a person thinks about Portsmouth New Hampshire, an Indie Film Festival doesn’t readily come to mind (Market Square Day, maybe). Documentaries, Feature Films and Shorts were just a few of the main attractions at this Festival. Each night ended with VIP After Parties around town and afternoon brunches at the 100 Club. Mike O’Malley (aka Kurt’s Dad from Glee), Tommy Chong and even Moet Chandon were just a few of the most popular attendees. The festival was kick started with New Hampshire Day on Thursday, which profiled special New Hampshire made films, shorts and documentaries.
A lot of things have happened in the past 15 years. It’s just mind boggling to think that Serendipity has been around to see Y2K, Michael Jackson’s death, 9/11 and the impeachment of one President followed by the election of two more Presidents of the United States. While all of that was happening, Serendipity stayed true and loyal to the tourists and locals of Portsmouth, New Hampshire and is now able to celebrate its 15th year Anniversary.
Hello folks! Have you missed us? Well, never fear because our mini break (okay the last 18 months, but who’s counting!) took us on all sorts of serendipitous and cultural adventures across the world. We scoured the lands for the best fashion we could find. We did our research, took notes and fell in love with styles, trends, fabrics and trims. What have we discovered, you might ask, is summed up in two words: Colored Denim.
